Low compression Cyl #3 . HELP please.

Thanks. I normally do my own work but I don't have a leak down tester. I adjuster the valves today and they were ALL tight. I couldn't drive enough for the obd2 to be ready which means no misfire cel yet.
Im sure I will need to spend a good penny on this fix.
Unfortunatel, I forgot to look for cracked retainers.

Test compression again on cyl 3 and see if valve adjust made any difference.
Before you buy a new shortblock or do more teardown, take the VC off again and check for cracked retainers.

Good news and a little bad news.
Dreaded misfire codes did not come back and re did compressioN -Got 200 Psi in cyl 3.
Now i have p0411. I initially got the code because one of the two smll hoses connected to the valve cover fell off. I put it back on and reset the codes. It came back. I checked all the hoses by the throttle body/pcv/valve cover and theyre all connected correctly.

Happened to me too if I remember right its a secondary air pump code? ????
Double checked and double checked.Found a hose on the right side of the valve cover under the fuel rail cover not connected. Its very small, about a small pencil sized hose....I believe there is 3 hoses that size next to each other and one was pulled off when installing the valve cover. Its not something you disconnect rather it just comes off on accident

Haha found the discounted hose. Found it by looking at all angles. Hopefully no more cels.
Thanks
Back on topic. Is it normal for compression to get better after valve adjustment?
