i don't think ap2 is different, but i could be wrong...
isn't 250 a bit HIGH for our cars?

the condition, brand of gauge and battery condition also played a role here.
i do 9 cranks and at least 3 times for each cylinder, i gotten a 215 on a brand new 07 so i know my gauge reads on the low side.(plus sh-t load of other cars)
there's people that does 15 crank pull(and killing half of the battery ) just to hope for a higher number.

The compression going up to equal with the other cylinders when you put oil in indicates rings, not head.
the idea of wet test is to use oil as a temp. seal for the piston ring(the oil goes to the ring by gavity and hopefully the rings have enough seal to hold the oil for a quick crank)
by doing so you are pin pointing the problematic area.

I am going through the same thing with my car. Its an AP1 with 74k miles, CEL comes on and goes off. Idles fine, oil temps are fine, power is fine, mpg is normal. Took it in yesterday and the dealership told me they had pulled codes for cylinder misfires. They found low compression in Cyl#2 and are telling me I need to replace all the valves and have the piston heads reshaped. I plan on getting a second opinion.
At a cost of $3,000 why isn't this covered under my 100k mile warranty?
