Default low beam bub change

well my psnger side low beams went out and honda wants almost 400 to fix it. no.
i bought some d2s 8000k bulbs off ebay, and looked around, can anyone tell me the exact bolt size, is it torx or just philips i couldn't really tell. also the safest way to go about this would be to unplug the battery, and give the car a hour or so to discharge the ballast?

can i just unplug the battery terminals and remove the lid, switch the bulb and call it a day. thanks

I think you're going to have to remove the headlight

I think you are going to be disappointed in the light output level of the 8K bulbs unless you are in to that sort of thing (looks over function).

i did my 10000k swap by jacking the car up and removing the fender liner( black plastic ), i did not remove the light. just un hook the battery and use a pair of latex gloves, you dont have to wait an hour to do it. The bit is a T20 and be sure it is a tamper prof. style ( has a small hole in the end of the bit ) fairly easy to do if your good with your hands.
