I had the PRM and lost 7rwhp.... the filter is a POS and the design is restrictive. This has debated ad nauseum, so I won't re-open old wounds. I suggest doing a search and you will see I am not the only one that sold their PRM. It sounds great, but that's about it. IMO, the comptech is a better design, better filter and comperable sound.

I have the prm as well never had the comptech .I have not felt a loss of power at all .This weekend i had the chance to drive both my 03 and my bestfriends 04 stock .
Seat of the pants no loss at all .I'm very happy with the prm .The heat soak issue i feel just does not hold up .
As as the air enters from the right of the raditator and my open right vent it gets sucked right into the car the air is not sitting in the bay area .As far as heat comming from the rear i also have a heat shield just like in the pic of the comptech above.I have also read about some fitment issues re the comptech and hood clearence.I do think it was addressed as was the filter on the prm issue .I have also seen claims of 7 hp with the comptech .That type of claim make me wonder .Both seem real good to avoid the
hydrolock problem .

By the way the vtec transfer in the 04 has been tunned way down to make this car more acceptable to more in the marketplace . It's like honda reached in took out the soul of this car and replaced it for more of a marketshare .
There have been many reviews of this car in the past and a common theme was that this was a sportscar with a "edge" a drivers car .Well the edge has been removed
and replaced with refinement for the civilized .Seem to be more of a GT car than the sportscar with the edge .If honda wanted to fight with the 350z and bmw in 04 i feel
a better way would have been to offer different versions of our car .track.touring and tame(automatic) .
