loud POP in rear suspension
Alright so I'm not entirely sure where this goes so move it if it needs to.
But yesterday as I was driving home my rear suspension would make a weird humming noise everytime I slowed down and cornered. Then when I pulled in my house and was turning around something snapped. I've checked the steering componets but don't think it would be them as my car already sits funny leaning me to think its in my suspension.
I have mabye an inch gap in the rear between my tires and wheels on 245/45/r17's with stock suspension. Ever since I got the car the rear end tends to bounce alot more than I would expect over every little bump.
Today I took the wheels off and saw no noticable broken parts... coil, loose shock, sway bar links, control arm, etc...
Only thing I did notice is i have very little pad life left and the inside of my tires are wearing faster than the outside.
Any suggestions on anything else to check?
Also do you think its safe to put it back together and keep driving? Just keep an eye out for strange noises?
