RT, so are you saying it is?

I can't believe those bastards' incompetence cost me so much money, time, worries, and without my car for a month.

By the way, every time I brought up the loose plug issue, the service manager would deny it right away and say that the upper threads on the plug would've been scorched from the heat trying to escape from below. That sounds true, but I don't believe it 100% percent.

If that's the case, Red, then I might have to have a talk with the dealership because they replaced the plugs under TSB/recall.

I think RT was right on from the beginning.
It appears from the number on that plug that it is the new "recall" plug "S" on the end. You might be interested to know that of the 3 cars I checked immediately after the spark plug recall, NONE of them had the correct torque on the plugs. To make matters worse, on each of those cars, NO TWO plugs had the same torque. The skill used by those who did this spark plug recall was sadly lacking and extreme in our local cases. It is entirely possible that whoever put those plugs into your car did NOT do a proper job and may have NOT used the increased torque setting.
