As for having doubt about the previous owner's over-revving, here's why it didn't happen. Damage from over-revving would happen right after the incidence, and wouldn't wait until two years later. If nothing happens after over-revving is done, then the car is fine. If not, then bent valves will occur instantly. Am I right?

Some types of metal fatigue or hairline fractures can show up years and 10s of thousands of hours of operation later. Remember case of the Boing 747s that were grounded for engine mounts that showed fractures many, many years after being in service. These sorts of things may have been there at manufacture or may have been caused while in their early months of service.
A fracture from stress placed in a valve spring or valve rocker arm due to an over-rev may perform flawlessly for a very long time before letting go.

If that's the case, Red, then I might have to have a talk with the dealership because they replaced the plugs under TSB/recall. But it's going to be tough to prove, but we'll wait for what other experts have to say.
I may even take those parts to an independent mechanic for examination. I'd like to be reimbursed for the $1300. That's a whole price of a decent laptop, because mine just broke. Senseless stuff keeps costing me money.
