Loud clanking noise from engine - Please HELP!

Xviper, the reason I asked was because I did Vtec it when I picked the car up. I forgot about the break-in thing. I'm not thinking or planning to run the car hard at all, for quite a while.
Let me guess, a right way of going into Vtec is letting the tach gradually climb into Vtec? And a wrong way would be down-shifting and having a sudden burst of Vtec because of it. Am I guessing right?
I'm still waiting for Honda to find out the cause, because I really want to know why it broke, for my sake and knowledge (and to conclude this thread with a definite, conclusive finding for all those who want to know, right?).

Looking At the pictures it looks like your nos leaned out. How high of a kit did you have on it? 150 or 200 horsepower ? I build large cubic inch chevy motors. Pistons and plugs only look like that when you melt them down, when it is too lean. I have never seen a loose spark plug cause that !
