What would be the purpose of using a filter and a plug there when you can just run a tube?

bling factor for one haha but actually for my case at least, the stock line didnt fit the new intake and there wasnt a size red silicone hose from the universal kit i picked up that fit so i just grabbed one of those instead but there is abs. no advantages from this aside from looks, infact someone once told me they were illeagle but i have no idea?

It's not legal in Cali. Curious though, does this not allow you to pass the sniffer test? Or is it just a visual thing?

It doesnt really matter. I would just put a hose. One guy on this forum said over time his breather filter had oil coming out of it or something and made a mess. But i dont know. I would just buy a hose and get it done with and change the oil asap if you've been running it without anything there.
