losting a hose connect from engine to airtake
hi,
I just bought a S2K and previous owner didn't have the hose connect from engine to the air-intake. He put something to stuck the hole on the intake. I'm wondering will it cost any problem I drive it like that or any damage to my engine.

Depends on the hose. Can you take a pic and post it? (you'll probably need to put it on flikr or photobucket for us to see it until you buy an s2ki membership).

No problems as far as I know, most ppl who run that set-up put a filter there. It directs air from the intake into the head so that oil in the head won't cause a mess . I left mine on after putting a intake in, it adds no HP, only hot air from the head as far as I know, which doesn't affect anything to the point of losing power. Just leave as it is or find a hose or smaller filter

Its a breather either leave the air intake tube plugged and get a breather filter for the valve cover part.
You could just run a hose to the air intake tube to the valve cover either way works

Right now the air going into the valve cover is not filtered so dirt and dust can enter. That sure is not good for the engine oil. Install a hose back to the intake tube.

you can get a breather filter at Autozone, Specter is the brand IIRC
Just dremel out the rubber part a bit & slide it over that opening, put a worm clamp on to keep it in place
