There was no whine when I was coasting in neutral to a stop either, I guess that rules out the diff too

It would be interesting to know if the driveshaft spins while the car is stopped, have someone check when you get the car back on the ground.

My original factory clutch went out at 58K miles after having owned the car for only 6K miles. I don't think it was because the owners before me beat the crap out of the car....but I think it was because they never fully got used to how this clutch is to others and they slipped it a lot when shifting. The clutch I installed since then has been in the car for 40K miles and when I pulled it off to do my engine rebuild and measured the disc, it had about 60% life left on it. So I just attribute the factory clutch going out from multiple inexperienced owners. It happens....

The spring holder inside the clutch disc shattered, in case you guys were still wandering. Clutch face still had a lot of meat left on it. I can take some pics if needed
