well i just installed the k&n aircharger for my 07 and yes its sluggish because well ur at 3k RPMs.....once it goes 5k+ you can hear it go to work. then agaon i wouldnt know how it feels to go WOT at 30 MPH in 3rd cause i dont do that, i just downshift. but yea i would check the install to see or put the stock back on and check it out like other people said.

something has gone wrong with your install or ur feeling is wrong. Or your car is somewhat cursed.

Maybe you need to give it more time for the ECU to adjust...maybe a week?

to tell you the truth i think you're just having reverse placebo effect lol. you expected more of a difference. just so you know, with the fipk the vtec crossover is smoothed out because it gives you gains in the midrange right before vtec kicks in. so dont use how "hard" vtec kicks as a measure of power either.

It's all placebo when it's bolt on... ur butt can't feel anything unless ur skin is like 0.1mm thick.

Maybe one of the vacuum lines did not get connected?
Or the vacuum lines got mixed up?
How about a check engine light?
Too much oil in the K&N filter itself?

Way too many different things that could go wrong and check...

^^ How would you unclog it? just take it off and clean it?
take map sensor off.. and the hole where the sensor goes into.. take some carb/throttle body cleaner and spray it in there.. it should drip down into the throttle body.. also would be a good timing to clean off the butterfly

Glad to hear it. I would still consider doing another reset if you haven't already. I did mine again after 6 months. Can't hurt, I read something on here saying it was a good idea if you haven't been driving hard for awhile. From what I've read,The ECU is supposed to always be learning. Good luck from here on...
