this is what you're looking for. make sure to confirm it will work with your particular head unit before purchasing. I've met Bob in person and he's a great guy. I've also had this unit in my S for about a year now, and have absolutely loved it!

I just bought one of these and it works as advertised. They even make a no-splicing wiring harness for some brand head units for a very simple install. I would highly recommend this piece of kit if it will work with your headunit.

Hey I really cant figure out how to post a new forum. I've looked everywhere and i don't know if i'm retarded but I cant find out how to. I have this same exact problem. I got a new battery and I've been driving for a day. 2 days later I took the car out and my dash went dim, then it shut off. I pulled the car over and it wouldn't start. I had my brother jump start the car, it started just fine. 2 minutes later the dash/ speedometer went off again. about a minute later the headlights shut off as well. I then proceeded to try and floor it and there was almost no power. Id say a good 30% of the usual 100%. I got the car home but I haven't done much since. I cant take it to a shop to check my codes, my tire pressure/ VSA, check engine, abs, the triangle one, and probably the rest. I attempted to wiggle the key and nothing happened. I also had the alternator checked twice.

Sounds like a charging system problem, most likely a bad alternator...you had the alternator checked twice, by who?

When the car is acting up, check the voltage with a voltmeter across both battery terminals with the engine still running and it'll most likely be around 11 volts or less.
