Losing Oil Pressure

Losing Oil Pressure
hi guys, recently im having my defi meter triggering some alerts on low oil pressure. the default setting was set to 1.5bar. this warning beep occurs when the car is slowing to a complete stop, or when im reverse parking my car at low rev.
I cant figured out if its a wear tear issue that a engine overhual will fix. (1yr old AP2 that seen 25k miles), or the oil catch tank from J's racing, or that I got it professionally installed. Or the different brands of engine oil im been on.
atnormal cruising and WOT the oil pressure is healthy, hitting over 7 bar at WOT, it is the low end that makes me concerned as the frequency is increasing.
ANy help?

Idk alot about these motors but when i was racing stock cars we had a problem with preasure dropping coming into the turns. We switched out the oil filter for the one recomended by the guy who built the motor and it fixed the problem totaly. Are you using the oem filter?

What is your oil weight? I could see this being caused if it was too viscus: low RPM operation does not have enough pull to suck in the requisite quantities of oil while high RPM operation pulls enough oil in but can't move it through the journals because it's too thick. Perhaps the cold is also causing the oil to get more viscus making the problem worse lately?

I heard somewhere that different brands of oil with same viscosity designation will have slightly different viscosity, i.e. Valvoline's 10W-30 will be slightly different from Castrol's vs Mobil 1's vs Deep Purple, etc...

You could check to see if you have an oil squirter that has fallen off. . this could possilbly cause a drop in oil pressure under casual driving situations. I know if you don't get those suckers torqued to spec they will eventually back themselves off and you'll have oil moving through a 10 mm hole instead of a ~1.5 mm hole.

Looks like there are a lot of variables to check. Engine oil currently running on Mugen weight is 40. prior to this was HKS oil, which makes me realised this problem.
Just wondering if the problem could be with the oil catch can, or perhaps the oil cooler leaking...
I just wanna highlight again the problem seems to happen just before the car comes to a complete stop, or doing low speed reversing..
I have no idea what a oil squirter is, gonna do some search in the meantime.
