I heard about this. They say you should get gas when it's cold outside because when it is hot, gas expands, so you aren't filling up as much as you would on a cold night/morning. I don't know if this is true though.
Whenever gas prices go up, these "helpful" tips start floating around, kind of like dead goldfish. They smell about the same, too.
