Gas is more expensive so you'll get less with the $10. Less gas = Shorter distance. LOL

how long ago are u comparing ur old mileage to? Remember, gas has changed on us not too long ago.

Anyways, many things can affect gas mileage. Air filter, plugs, bad gas, etc etc.

Until you do the math to figure actual MPG you are guessing.

1.Fill up tank.... not 10$
2. reset trip meter
3. Drive until fuel tank low
4. Fill tank again. Not 10$
5.Look at trip meter, record miles travelled.
6. Buy a calculator with your spare 10$
7. Use this equation to figure MPG

Miles travelled from step 5 divided by gallons purchased from step 4 = Actual MPG.

For example, 260 miles travelled and you filled up with 10 gallons, = 26 MPG

I saw something on the news recently where they were saying if it's really hot out when you pump your gas, you actually get less slightly less gas for your money.
