No suggestions. It looks like it might depend on the device you want to use as well.

Took my car to the auto parts store and the only code was P0141: bank 1 sensor 2 hearter circuit malfunction. Which makes sense because I have an aftermarket exhaust.

I just got PLX kiwi3. it's simple enough for me. about $90.

typically, OBD2 reader can read TPS reading where throttle is. I think soviet is referring to that, not the code. so while OBD2 reader is connected and monitoring, step on gas slowly to see if it's reaching 100%.

That doesn't make any sense unless you are not running a cat?

Okay so I purchased a BAFX Products 34t5 Bluetooth OBDII Scan Tool, and used the Torque app for android. I tested the throttle position sensor using this setup, and this is my result:

Most/all of the variation you see there is just the result of me not responding smoothly to the small changes in resistance as the pedal moves through its range of motion. Now I will note that the pedal only detected ranges from 5-88 which seemed peculiar.

My car shows 5.5%-90% so it seems normal. Ideally you are looking for some jagged drops or flat spots.

Moving on you may want to look into your MAP.

See this TSB: https://www.s2ki.com/s2000/shared/li...-073/index.htm

I haven't personally experienced this issue but it is commonly addressed with the MAP "whack": https://www.reddit.com/r/S2000/comme...p_whack_works/
