Default Loose Roof Latch

The striker plate on the passenger side windshield piller is loose on my 2003 S 2000. Has anyone had to tighten one of these, and, if so, how difficult is it to get to the bolt or screw that tightens the bracket? Thanks for any info!

You have to disassemble the plastic liner. This involves removing the A pillar liner first, then partially taking apart the interior light so you can pull down the top windshield liner. I would suggest you then use Loctite on the striker plate screws. If it's under warranty, why not let the dealer do it?

Thanks for the information, The car is still under warranty, but I didn't want to have top spend the time taking the car into the dealer. Going to rain on Saturday anyway, so I might as well let the dealer do it. Thanks again.
