Loose Clutch
About two days ago I was driving my daily 50+ mile drive on the PA turnpike to work cruising around 85 miles an hour. I was slowing down and went to downshift and when I pressed on the clutch I felt a bit like hercules because it went immediatly to the floor. It was an instant change from the last shift I made (it hasn't slowly loosened up) and ever since it has felt like "wishy washy" it engages early sometimes, and late others it is still very loose.
It still works there is no problem shifting gears no grinding which puzzles me. I had my clutch replaced at 48K miles. I now have 62K I hardly feel like I burnt the clutch up that fast. I was looking at the differant DIY for greasing the clutch but I don't feel like that is my problem. Has anyone had a similar problem to what I'm talking about.
P.S. Trying to avoid a trip to the stealership at a all costs.

when my clutch went to the floor and it stayed there it was the the clutch master cylinder leaking. peaking at your clutch pedal you'll see the linkage and look for fluid coming out. it's a cheap fix and you can do it yourself. hopefully it is something simple like that and not a clutch change or something...

if you have to order a clutch master cylinder or slave cylinder, order from hardtopguy.com 'cause i got a price quote from the stealership and they charged twice what he charges, he ships cheap and quick...
