It's pretty straight forward as far as I can tell. The prop shaft bolts need to be shocked loose. I used a 6mm hex head and a breaker bar and a good hard punch to break mine loose without stripping them.

If you can swap a motor, you can do this in your sleep. I have done a few of them and honestly the drive shaft bolts Aus talked about are the worst. If someone has ever changed it before, chances are they used the wrong tool and stripped them out somewhat.

The best advice I can give you is go buy a GOOD 6mm hex, snap on, mac, something. Not a 2 dollar A-Z or Advance one because the metal is soft and QC is on the low side making them prone to tear the bolts up. Other than that, the actual removal of the pumpkin and installation is a bit on the tough side just because it's close tolerance. I always did it on a lift with a tranny jack but I am sure you can accomplish the same thing on the ground with a good hydro jack if you don't have access to a lift.

you need to get a low control arm puller. It allows the axles to drop down low enough to get inner parts of the axle out of the differential. When getting the hex bolts off, use a shock method to break them off. Not a slow turning method, which will cause a stripped bolt!

It is pretty straight forward, I just went ahead and bought new driveshaft bolts because I had heard about people stripping them. I ended up just replacing all of the old ones with new ones. Honestly, if you have done motor swaps you should have no problems w/this.
