Default Looking for 46960-S2A-A00 Clutch Steel Line!

Hello All I had been replacing my Master Clutch Cylinder on my 2002 S2000 and I think that Might need to replace the line that goes out of the Cylinder. I had been looking for the line that goes out of the Master Clutch cylinder 46960-S2A-A00 everywhere and it says that it is Discontinued. I can find one in Japan, but it is for Right Hand Drive. It is called "Pipe Assembly line". Does anyyocne know where I can can find one? Please let me know.

Why do you need to replace the hard line?

Long story short, I think that I goofed up. I didn't rush it, which is the reason why my Master Slave Cylinder is not connected to the hard line yet, but I think that I messed up the threads \. I will not know till I am successful on screwing it in:

You know that the hard line needs to be perfectly aligned with the fitting in order to thread the nut? You may need to tweak the line a bit, to align it. I always hand-tighten these nuts before using any wrenches. Just to prevent cross-thread boo-boos.

Good luck!

This right here, I thought I had done the same the first time I did it and its just very finicky. As long as you haven't cranked down on it I doubt you messed up the threads.

Thank you for the quick reply and tips, Yeah I try to start by hand for 3 hours yesterday, I thought that I had it couple of times, but no luck, so I gave up. I will try again today, If I screw it in and there is no leaks I be happy, because getting this part would be impossible now, unless you get used one.

equal parts rust and violence, perhaps.

OP....see if the line from a 06+ will fit. It may not route perfectly, but it should work.

Or DIY a line.

Pull the fitting back and make sure you have the line fully inserted and seated as much as possible before you try and screw in the fitting.

Leave the master cylinder mounting bolts loose, so the MC can wiggle around.
It will allow for the MC/PIPE angle to change, and you will have no problem starting the hard line.
