Located where the water is getting into my trunk.
So I posted a couple of weeks back about the water I found in my tool well. Well it was finally warm enough today to start investigating where it's coming from. Fortunately my wife and I have a friend that's 15 years old, 5'2" and 95 pounds.
She fit into my trunk perfectly.
Equipped with a lantern and her cell phone she was able to take a video for me of where the waters getting in.
If you are standing behind the car looking into the trunk it's in the rear right corner at the very top of the trunk space in front of where the spare tire is. Basically where the convertible top meets the trunk.
Anybody have any idea what would be causing the leak, and more importantly how to go about fixing it?

The gutter runs right there. Any water that runs off the top goes into the gutter and the runs forward to drains by the doors. Push down on the fabric in that area where it meets the body and look for debris. You may have to eventually remove the top tray and unbolt that part of the gutter to clean it. Make sure the lip is set right too.
P.S. Please lock your other post. Thanks.

So it's just over filling and leaking in?
Does the tray just lift out, or are there clips of some sort?
Once I have the tray removed is it pretty self explanatory? What I mean is can I just look at what's under there and decipher what needs to be done. Or is there a DIY I can search for or be directed to?
Thanks for the help guys. It's greatly appreciated.

It's about a 6" tall piece of plastic wrapped around the top. About 10 bolts hold it to the rear wall . You can't miss it. You will probably need to unbolt it in the section that's clogged and reach into the gutter from the outside and clean it. Check that the drains drain good too. You'll see a small black plastic square shaped funnel where the brushes are on each side of the top. You can see them with the top down. No dis assembly required.
I'd suggest removing the rear tray and then hitting it with the hose again. It's easy to see where the problem is.
