I bought a yellow top about 7 years ago for my Toyota rock crawler, it's been parked for over 3+ years now, battery disconnected, just sitting in the barn. The battery on my '94 Toy 4x went dead about 3 weeks ago so I went and got the yellow top out of the runner, put it on the charger for a day and put it in the other Toy, I really didn't expect much as it was discharged for a few years. It works great, spins that 22re quicker than it's been spun in a couple years. Those things will start with 1 or 2 slow revolutions. Personally never had a lick of trouble with the yellow top, done a lot of winching and running inverters, draining it and recharging it many times. Lucky I guess.

They yellow tops typically are really good batteries. Thats why I bought one. Apparently theres just been a defective lot that coincides with the battery size we put in the S.
