Default The Little Airbag Man

Quick one here guys..

I was once stock with an aftermarket steering wheel, so my airbag light was on.

Went vortech with AEM EMS, and my airbag light went off.

Now I'm back to stock with stock ECU, and my airbag light is still off... So I'm wondering why that is? Still have an aftermarket steering wheel, so I'm kinda worried that it's an ECU Problem because my heater blower's not working either...

thanks guys!

yes, airbag is out... But the light is NOT on like it used to be. In other words, my guages tell me I have no air bag problem.

what's the resistor fix?

hmmmm that didn't help me unfortunately

I'm just wondering what triggers the airbag light, because it's supposed to be ON right now but it's not, so there might be an ECU problem if the light isn't controlled by a fuse.

Anything? Airbag light is supposed to be on right now since I have an aftermarket steering wheel... but the light is off.

I found that several of the warning lights at the bottom of the dash didn't light when my "Back-up" fuse was blown. It also did not beep when I left my headlights on and removed the keys. Does yours do that now?

Thanks Mikey! Perhaps that could be the issue... not sure if it beeps or not but I will check.

Where is this back-up fuse located?

Nevermind -- Got it. I'll see if that was the problem. Thanks!

No problem. It's a long-shot, but if you were doing some swapping of ECUs, it's possible to have popped a fuse, I suppose.

Good Luck!
