Thanks as always for your response UL.

so at 5" does that mean I need a flywheel machined to mate up? What is the diamater of our clutch? It has to be atleast 6"

You need a specific flywheel which Tilton usually includes with the whole clutch package. It allows things to be much lighter because the only material you need outside of the clutch interface is the starter ring.

I have no experience personally with the ATS carbon clutch, but their unit, a single disk carbon setup with steel flywheel weighs 15.87 lbs amd can hold 420 hp. They have a unit available for the s2000.

For reference I think the ACT clutch weighs about 14 lbs for the disc and pressure plate only. Add another 8 lbs. for the flywheel there, for a total of 22 lbs.

and I think the stock setup weighs about 27 lbs.
