Rotate the piston - clockwise - all the way in (*), mount the caliper & pads and press the brake pedal until firm again.
Repeat, maybe 2 times.
Make sure the alignment pin on the pad facing the piston is in the slot.
Go for a drive: if it stays cold = seized piston for sure.
This doesn't fix it, it will come back.
The movement - rotation and in/out - of the piston will temporarily clear the binding.
(*) check for brake fluid overflow in the reservoir!
Repeat, maybe 2 times.

I went ahead and placed the order for a new caliper from my local dealer. it will be here tuesday.car will sit until then. as, the caliper is back off the car.get this! I was told by the parts guy on the phone that I had to bring in the old caliper before I can order the new one, that he didn't have in stock.and pay first to order it?- I get there with the caliper in hand.A guy with same name from the phone call from last night, ask's "why did you bring in the old one?" and ,when I handed him the money, he say's "ohh no need to pay until the new one shows up on tuesday." -----Im just dumbfounded by that. Anyways, will update on tuesday.I just hope its the caliper after all this.
