Default Left rear axle feels loose upon acceleration

Sorry my first post here is one about a problem
Vehicle is an 07 AP2 with 40,000 miles.

The Problem
Moving off from standstill, the right axle catches power immediately, however the left takes a couple of milliseconds to catch.
Therefore the feeling an improper connection.

Sometimes in between gears I get this as well.

Checked with my mechanic and an axle specialist. Mechanic said it might be axle and axle specialist said probably not.
Trawled forums, websites and youtube without avail.

Initially thought it was a loose axle nut or worn CV but the symptoms are different but similar somewhat.
No vibrations and no clicking, just this feeling that the rear end is loose which takes away the driving pleasure.

Seems like there is a problem somewhere in the driveline.

At wits end

Make sure you tighten both real axel nuts, usually if this is the problem it is associated with clicking or popping.

You are getting se good suggestions here. Do the easy, free stuff first.

Rear tire pressures even left vs right.

Jack rear wheels off ground, and use stands. Now, grab each axle and try to move around. Rotate, slide back and forth. More play in one side than the other?

Grab each wheel, and try to rock back and forth, in out. Any play detected? Do the axle nut tsb no matter what, but check play first.

Spin each rear wheel. More brake drag on one side vs the other?

Alignment? Have it done, get before, after printout.

When was diff fluid last changed? Change it if its been a while. Don't get fluid from dealer. They will likely sell you the wrong stuff. Certainly don't have dealer do the work.

I'm a little surprised you could feel that. I probably couldn't. Yes, on to the free stuff first. Any Wheel spacers? Drive shaft spacers? VSA bulb lighting up?

I second on the tire pressures. The s2k is very sensitive to different radii from left to right. If the tire is mismatched or worn more than the other side. itll pull to one side under acceleration. a dfference in tire pressures will have the same effect
