You mean WOT Harpoon? Because 14.7's what the ECU shoots for while cruising down the road.

What would be interesting is a picture of stock WOT AF ratio.

~15.5-16.0 is what the car shoots for cruising down the road
~14.7 is stoichiometric. This is the "ideal burn" and is tried to reach during idle
~12.0-13.5 is full throttle NA

I've seen dyno's that run rich at very wot down to 12:1 and that was considered "normal operation".

All S2000's run rich in VTEC. People have leaned this up a bit with a piggyback fuel controller like the Apexi VAFC and gotten a few hp up top.

Same as the Integra Type-R. Honda seems to assume we all use crap gas (which our gas is compared to Japanese gas) so, they seem to build extra richness in to protect the motor.

12.1-12.5 when hit boost from 6000 to 8000 rpm. 11.0 at 9000rpm. And 14.9 before boost.

uh.. 12.1 is not lean buddy... 12.1 is rich. 14.7 is ideal 15+ is lean, the lower then number the richer it gets.

it scales like this.
Rich ideal Lean
10-----------14.7-----------17.0

i just picked numbers to simulate lean and rich i am not quite sure what the extremes in terms of #'s.

Boosted cars you don't want to be close to 13.2-13.4 any thing below that (richer) is safer. because if you do go up in the hills the barometric pressure will be off. And your going to run leaner than what it is set at. The ECU should calibrate slightly for it but it won't do it 100%.

In Audi's we tuned them to sit around 12.1-12.5 when boosting in higher RPM. down low it's set at roughly 13.8-14.0 you seriouly don't want to run 14.7 on any boosted car because the ECU can't compensate fast enough to prevent a ping or detonantion. Also at 14.7 you can't run an agressive timing curve to give you good response. it's basically just a rule come close to it for ideal a/f mix. you don't have to be right on it. but you should not stray 4-5 points away from it.

thats exactly normal for a stock(ecu) car. mine car pulled 12.1 AFR before i vafc'd it. its now tuned to 13.8:1AFR. makes good power this way.
