I have more information. I checked under the car in the garage before I started the car to go to work this morning, still not a single drop of oil on the ground. Then, I started the car and pulled out of the garage and what do you know, I have a small puddle. So it looks like starting the car makes some of the oil leak out. Will try to get it on a lift when I can.

I know this is going to sound like a far stretch but I've had a bad oil filter on my truck before. It would not leak oil while the engine was off, then after starting the engine it would drip very slightly. I had to leave it running while trying to figure out where it was dripping from. The filter had a small defect around that base causing it to leak.

If that is the case then it sounds like it is only leaking under pressure...the only seals that take much pressure would be the VTEC solenoid, the oil filter and oil cooler and hoses under the filter seat...that is the area I would be looking for the leak. Clean the area off real well with degreaser and a rag and then look for a drip while it's idling.

I just read this. I was at the dealer earlier and it was indeed a bad filter. Replaced it and now all is well again. Glad I did it sooner than later... if it had become worse and oil started spraying everywhere, I might have risked fire.

Thanks everybody.

I just had a car here from the dealer. They overtightened the drain plug and split the oilpan. It wouldnt have happened if they changed the 2 cent washer. It was thin as paper.
