It looks like Lubrication Engineers finally updated the product information on LE 8130 after 5 years. It's now SM/SL approved. I have not seen any posts regarding a serious attempt at using this lubricant in the S2000. But if there are, I'd like to hear from them regarding how it is working for them. Ever since trying LE 607, I've been curious about how good LE 8130 would work in the S2000 since it used to be SH approved only. Here's a link:

I have been running this in my last motor (another story) and it works great. When I dissassemblied the motor, the ware on the cams were unnoticable. My motor issues were related to the track, oil and wear. I am also sure that my time as a Turbo'ed S2000 also took some of the toll.

I cnxa tell you this, as soon as the motor I am running passes 10K, I will again be running LE8130
