Koni help please
I bought some used koni, and I noticed that I am missing this part.
Does anyone know what this part is called? Where it goes? Do I need it?
Hell, I am missing the manual, can anyone tell me where everything goes too?
thanks.

I don't know if you have figured this out yet, so here we go.
The metal collar in the lower left goes over the shock body and the stock lower spring perch will sit on it. (It may need some persuasion with a rubber/plastic mallet to get the spring perch to come off the stock shock body.
The white cap goes on next and sits on top of the yellow body.
Put on the stock bump stop and make sure you get it over the weld spot that is used on the next step.
Then one of the big flat washers will sit on the shaft of the shock. From this, the stock dust cover will sit on top of the washer.
The stock upper perch/hat needs to be drilled out. (do a search for Koni install for the size. But there are 2 rubber mounts that need to be drilled for each side and that small metal tube will fit in the newly drilled hole, allowing the top of the Koni shock shaft to pass through.)
The the part you have circled, goes on top of the stock/drilled upper perch and then the 2 nuts keep it all together when you put the spring in there.
I can take pictures of my setup if that would help.

I bought my Koni's brand new and one of the sets were missing the hardware packet. I called Koni directly and ordered what I needed. The hardware package costs under $12 per shock I think. Koni was kind enough to give emm to me for free because i bought the shocks from a dealer.
