Koni adjusting question

Default Koni adjusting question

So whats the trick in adjusting the left rear shock? Koni's adjust knob won't fit in that tight spot between the fuel line. I've tried needle nose and the conventional plyers. Any suggestions?

If you swing the fuel tube out of the way, it makes access to the top of the strut childs play. 2 nuts at the filler opening and 1 nut in the trunk.

Or use a 4" Cresent wrench. That's worked for me before.

Yes...he made them and they work great!

Otherwise, you need to sacrifice one of your adjuster knobs and pull the keyhole out. It is pressed into the knob very tight and you will need to carefully cut it free. Then press the keyhole into a 3/8" socket (one that you can sacrifice as your new adj tool). With an extension on a 1/4" drive, you should have no problem reaching the adjustment key on the top of the shock.

do you sell these? I'm not really a fan to take off my fuel ine in order to adjust the shock.

On my KW's I installed the shock with the adjuster knob permanently installed. Just have to reach back and turn, No need to take the knob off.
