didn't read the entire thread, but BC coilovers should be preloaded so they shouldn't settle.

mine's in the shop as i type this getting an alignment.

speedstar - our local hipo shop - recommends 4 and 4 from softest for street, and 8 and 6 or 7 for our local tracks around here...

fyi, on the street, i run 4/4 on my 18's and 5/5 on my stock 17's....

I'm not doubting that AK1 is legit, just curious whether I got the correct set for the car. The guys at AK1 have been extremely helpful and I would definitely recommend them to fellow enthusists.

Just wish it came with instructions.
