Default Knock Sensor Torque Specs Anyone?

A lot of people talk about torquing the knock sensor to specs, otherwise it won't read right, but nobody can come up with the actual torque specs and the service manual doesn't specify it either. seems like a mystery number.. anyone got the answer?

If you could get a torque wrench on it i would actually give you a prize. I did look but no where says anything so just do it up, dont go mad because it's easy to snap the connector off - use a deep drive 6 sided socket, not a 12 point! (cant remember size!)

I'll second that ^^. You can barely get to that thing with the engine in the car. I'm always nervous about breaking it or the wiring when removing a starter.

Lol you're right! I didn't think of that. I'm not changing mine yet. It was just bugging me how people were saying how important was to torque it right, but not even the manual has the torque numbers. But I remember you can't even see the bolt much less fit a torque wrench there.

Just take it easy on the knock sensor and you'll be fine. I just replaced mine took about 15 min to find.
