How will you generate a knock signal for the sensor to tespond to?

Use just about any 'computer speakers' to play a specific frequency tone. Compare sensors at various frequencies?
This would have to logged through the ECU though, since having a 'signal conditioner' in line would be needed.

I guess you can do a frequency sweep and graph the resistance or voltage (I don't know which type of sensor it is) change for both sensors.

Could count the winding & length with non specific part to compare, its only a coil and a magnet ?

That is destructive though
