Ok my two cents is it may be the timing chain tensioner. The s2000 is notorius for this issue. In fact im about to replace my third one in less than 1 1/2 weeks. This time im buying a brand new one from the hond dealer. It runs about 189$ + tax. I have put 15/50 synthetic oil in and the noise goes away briefly. But after running over 6k rpm a couple times it comes back. Id def check to make sure it isn't the tensioner. And the way you know you have good oil psi is if you still pull vtec. If this tensioner fails me I'm putting a baffled oil pan on next
