Keyless entry suddenly stopped working. help?
I have the OEM added security system installed on my '01 s2k and yesterday after getting my oil changed at the dealer it suddenly won't respond to my keyless or the spare keyless. Is there a switch or something that could have been bumped or something? I can't get my security system to trigger now. Any knowledge of this topic would be appreciated.

Others have experienced this, including me.
Try these things:
1) make sure valet mode isn't on
2) reprogram your remote (instructions in the manual)
3) pull the remote entry fuse
4) disconnect the battery
there are a couple of threads about this elsewhere.

Hey PigPen,
I would try #3 on foolio's list first.
I also have the OEM security system and this hapens to me often. I have found no good explanation, but I know that pulling the "keyless" fuse for a little while seems to reset/fix the problem. Try it out and post back your results.
Be careful that when you remove/replace the fuse-puller-tweezer-dealie-bobber thing, that you don't accidently drop it behind the left kick panel. I have thought about tying a piece of string around it to fish it out if I need.
Good luck!
