That "window" is the windscreen, but I'm not seeing what this has to do with your fuse blowing situation.

it doesnt, you had said something about it being a hardtop at one point so i added that at one point it also had the windscreen, thats all. by any chance do you know which fuse the rear defrost would be powered under?

The thing is, it's not likely that you have that light running off an old rear defroster circuit. That's why you blow the fuse when you put on your brake lights. It's likely on that circuit. The previous owner may have simply used a rear defroster switch that's not tied into any rear defroster.
Sorry, I don't have my service manual with me, but you can have a look at the legend on your kick panel that shows all the fuses. That might give you a clue as to which one it might be.

Then they're on different circuits. You'll have to go in there and trace the wires to see what else is spliced into that brake light circuit. That circuit also supplies power to the ABS, Cruise Control, ECM and horn. Do those work when the brake lights fail?

take out that un-needed aftermarket lighting and install the new brake light bulb in.
it would solve the problem.

brake light bulbs are fine, they work perfectly when the fuse isnt blown. if i cut the wire near the bulb of the aftermarket light will that solve the problem? or would i need to take ALL the wiring for that light out?
