The only issue is stress, not an issue of if it's capable. That's why I say that it's up to the tuner to make the judgements. (This is not always the case with just any old motor, it just happens to be with the S2000 -- For example, you can't just rev a 350z motor to 8000 rpm)

We know people who has the ap1 ecu, but we do not know if the have damage their engine yet of if they have done enough miles to give credit to the modification, people who damage their engine does not post very offen.
