K&N S2000 FIPK Installation
#44
I just installed my K&N FIPKon my 07 S.
Now whenever I turn my car off I get a soft pop sound from the in take.
It almost sounds like a backfire as the motor shut off.
Any ideas from those that have done this before.
Thanks in advance.

I would step through the install procedure one mroe time to make sure nothing is connected backwards. I know once I did I found two crossed hoses.
Follow these instruction..

I will recheck everything, but the link seems to show an AP1 install.
there are a few things that are different
MAybe this is the problem, this is the shot looking down my hood.
But I don't see how.
The rest seems in order
Let me know what you thinK

^lol, I swore I had answered your first question before, now I realized you posted in two different threads! Anyhow, the sound will be louder for you b/c your hood has that open grill. Also, disconnecting the battery won't change the sound, doing so supposedly helps your ecu to learn faster.
