Just picked up a used one for my 05, but unfortunately it didn't come with the hoses for the air control valve vacuum hose, the air control solenoid vacuum hose, or the 1/4" hose for the intake manifold and underside of the throttle body, or the saddle bracket assembly.

I bought it like this with the majority of the components:

So I have a few questions:

1. If so, would these hoses from O'reily work?

http://www.autozone.com/autozone/acc...er=534815_0_0_

2. Is the Saddle bracket assembly necessary? Will the intake stay in place without it?

All help will be appreciated. And Thanks in advance.
I had the exact same issue. K&N sent me a hardware kit for $15 shipped.
What did it include? and how long did it take for you to get it?

I installed mine about a week ago and it took me a long ass time.

The seal for the box and the temp sensor grommet were a pain in the butt to install.

The factory hoses were a b**** to take off and when it did come off I got coolant all over the place including my face.

The temp sensor plug on the stock intake tube was hard to remove.

Mounting the box to the bracket closest to the radiator is about impossible. How did everyone else managed to do this? I had to mount the bracket to the box first and then reach under it to set the bolt in place and I was only able to hand tighten it because my ratchet wouldn't fit. Any tips as to how I can tighten it would be appreciated as it will probably come loose.

The saddle bracket had to be squeezed tighter in order to get the clamp around it and the intake tube. Oh and I lost a washer to one of the bolts. Dropped it into the engine bay and couldn't find it. Thought it fell through to the ground but it wasn't there either...

Took me probably around 3 hours and that's not including the time trying to get the seal and temp sensor grommet on. By the way this was the very first time that I have installed anything on the car other than easy interior stuff.

I used a 6" and 3" extension with a 10mm deep socket to reach. I folded up a piece of paper that was a bit shorter than the socket and stuffed it inside. This allowed me to push the bolt through the box and bracket and thread the nut on it. I did this for both bolts before tightening both down.

Just contact K&N customer service and tell them your situation. They will ask you which parts you are missing, so use the installation diagram to figure out what you need, and they should get it shipped out pretty quickly. I got everything I needed in a few days and it worked flawlessly.

Thanks! I just contacted them and the lady said if I am missing more than 3-4 parts she would only offer the complete hardware kit, which is $75...lol oh well, I am on the boat already, why not. I paid and am expecting it to arrive within 2 days.

Cheers!

Anyone know the specific size grommet to use for the 06+ air temp sensor? And possibly a link to purchase said grommet?
