Default K&N oil filter, any good?

I looked all over for a mobil 1 filter and couldn't find one. I settled for the K&N oil filter which cost almost 3X as much as the Bosch I found after buying it

Do you guys think the K&N oil filter is any good?

I just put in a K&N filter couldnt get Mobil one but found some web sites on oil filters and Mobil 1 and K&N are built by the same manufacturer but do not get a Honda American oil filter its filter media is fuzzy and looks like it might get into your motor its not the same oil filter that came with our cars from Japan...Look up Hamp oil filters or mobil 1, k&n Bosch, or STP heres a site that looked into the oilfilters www.ntpog.org look up oil filters they did tests and opened the filters and looked at whats inside.. I think k&n made a good oil filter

Nice, the Mobil 1 and the K&N are made by the same manufacturer. I heard somewhere that the Single Pass flow rate in the K&N wasn't as high as the others like Bosch or Mobil. Oh well I can sleep easier now
The Made in Canada OEM filters are not good according to the ntpog.org write up. The K&N one is about $4CDN more than the OEM but more worth it if you ask me.

bayarea 408 the factory filter that came with the car was made in Japan and is a very high quality filter..The one you buy at the USA honda dealership isnt its made here not in Japan and its filter media is different and has loose fibers that can fall appart and dont even look at the Canadian one its terrible made out of cardboard look at www.ntpog.org and read oil filters
