Glad you posted this. I gave them a call and now I understand.

They are all the same. The 57 means it is carb legal and comes with a sticker. The 63 means it is before the carb approval but is the same thing.

it has beem carb approved on the older models but the newer ones approval hasn't been received yet.

That is a really good picture. Thankyou for sharing it.

Would be nice if the filter was being fed some cool air. For the die hard a little air induction through the hood in that spot would work great or maybe just the spoon intake extension used with the stock intake.

Well once I get some money together I will get one.

Fresh air is coming up through the hole in the fender, draws air from the same place as the Comptech intake.

Neither one will work on a 06 without modding the inlet tube to work with the new IAT sensor location.

BE careful if in the future if you decide to run a vented hood, this would not be good. Great for an OEM hood.

Why would this intake not be good for a vented hood , i have this intake and plan on getting a vented hood . probablly work great and get more air flow , only thing you have to be carefull of is if it rains. so then cover ya vents up .
