Im debating getting a K&N FIPK. My question is does sound different the stok airbox/ w the lid off? Does it perform better than the Full airbox assembly? Just want to make sure its worth the 300!

more sound more HP. not worth 300. but worth 250.

performance-wise you're not going to feel the difference but sound-wise it's a bit louder than stock airbox w/o lid

300? I got mine for around 215. I don't know how it compares with the factory airbox with the lid off, but it is louder than stock. Definitely not in a bad way, though. I noticed a difference in power as well as did my passenger who had no idea that I had done anything to the car. Overall, I am very happy with it.

My biggest complaint is that it took me out of stock class

Meh do it for the sound and beware of hydro. Actual gains are negligable and filtration will be significantly less than the oem setup.

BTW your sig is pretty damn nice... I just hate fake blondes. So a paper bag and id be in heaven.
