K&N CAI Installed Now comes the Fun
I installed it pretty easy alittle cutting and squeezing it in. Now I feel a hesitation slightly when I rev the car not in gear?? And I have tried to reset the computor by taking the power cable off and putting it back on after 20 minutes. Also the idle seems lower(under 1000) and sometimes feels like it wants to stall out! Has anyone had the same problem?and what have you done to fix it?? It is supposed to be more responsive but with these 2 problems it is not.
Thanks

Hmmmm, I don't think a CAI should be doing these things. At least not when I had my AEM, which basically used a similar K&N filter element. There must be something else at work here. Without seeing the car, it's hard to say exactly what.
ps. It is not necessary to disconnect the battery cable to reset the ECU. Just pull the "BACK UP" fuse in your under dash fuse panel for about 30 seconds.

I am thinking of adding an aftermarket exhaust which should set up an easier exit of flow that may stop both problems. I figuire if you make the entrance of air flow better you have to make it leave the same manner or these 2 problems will continue??
