K&N c.a.i. just finish installation !
Very satisfied about it ( For now ! ) easy installation ( installation guide is very clear )
I did a little run with it just to make sure everything works but it was late and i did not push it very hard but enought to say that the sound ( when you accelarate hard ) is a little bit more boomier?? Rumble ??? I don't know how to say it but it's not too loud.
( It's like when you take the filter cover off, a little less noisier but the butt o meter feel more power )( I tried a few time without the cover on the OEM intake and you definitely feel less power )
I'll post my real impressions after a real run tomorrow !!

It's called, K&N Air charger. As i live in Canada it cost me 450 CDN $ So for you guys it's like 285 US $ or something like that !
It took 2 hours to install it but as i said it is very easy to install it so i could make it faster but it was the first time for me to install this thing so i took extra care of not missing something or scratching anything !
This is a picture of it (I'm out of camera so this is not a picture of mine it's from fperra) ( user from this board ) Thanks FPERRA
BTW, Thanks banger, jackts2k for the link
I had the opportunity to push it today and it really grind ...i really like it !!

How well does the rubber seal around the top of the heat shield fit the inside of the hood? Is air tight enough to only draw air
from the hole in the side of the fender well?

Well it's very difficult to see if it really seal the space between the top heat shield and as i can see all the space between the sheild and the car frame i can tell you that it is draw hot air ! But anyway this kit is, in my opinion better than the OEM one ( witch is in a place that really suck hot air !!! ),it is better than those one who have the filter at the end like INJEN or AEM ( The K&N intake is away from water !!! ), better than the COMPTECH ( It is cheaper and the dyno show a better performance gain ) and it is easy to get it ( it's not comming from Japan !! )
But if you really want to seal all the gaps you can do it by adjust the position of the heat shield ( It could be necessary to drill holes in it to do it. You can adjust it with the existing holes but not that much !! )
I am not trying to convince anyone that you HAVE to buy it !!! LOL
I am just sharing my impression on it !!
Thanks
