K&N Aircharger
For those who have installed the K&N Aircharger:
Is it a worthwhile improvement? YES or NO
Does it require methods to keep the incoming air cool in order for improvements to occur? YES OR NO
Comments
I have a new one sealed in the original box -- I am waiting for comments before I install it ...
If you took measures to keep the incoming air cool, what did you use?

IMO, it is a worthwhile improvement, just as much as any of the other intakes on the market. And there is no threat of water intake b/c the filter is located in the engine bay. I can feel the increased power and torque more prominently in mid-range. And it sounds awesome!!!
I haven't taken any other steps to cool it down (i.e. using thermal wrap) but im sure these will help also. Easy install and everything is supplied. The best part is- no altering of any original parts-you can just slap the stock back on if anything happens.
There have been a few other threads on this topic, just do a search and they should be there. There is also a dyno (for those that take the dyno as the final word) in one of those threads as well.
