With air-filters does anyone get better gas mileage and if so how much? I am looking to buy the K&N air-filter as well and I was told that you can get 2 miles more per gallon.
2 mile per gallon sounds too much... it really depends on how often the driver replaces air filter.

a person w/ stock filter replace filter every 15k would get better mileage than a person w/ k&n filter that cleans filter every 20k.

i would recommend cleaning filter every 5k for optimium performance and durability of the engine.

Thanks for your recommendation. I just had my first maintenance (5K service at 3,700 miles) and I have to check if they cleaned my filter.

Thanks again

when i said cleaning, i meant cleaning k&n or comptech drop-in filter. stock filter can't be cleaned... well... i guess you can use vacuum cleaner to clean some dirt out of stock filter.
OH! Thanks for clarifying <Heh heh>

They're quite costly, who sells these for the lowest price?

Think of it as a Mugen filter on sale!
