Just had it tuned, 9hp gain

and I dont know about that, either... once your ECU has gone through it's readiness cycle, it'll detune that partial throttle setting. And the S2000 goes through it's readiness checks really quickly. Mine does it in about 30 miles worth of driving.
So while that's true... resetting the ECU would cause the AFC partial throttle tune to work, it'd only work until the ECU goes through it's readiness checks... so you'd basically have to reset your ECU every time you drive somewhere if you wanted it to work properly.... doing that though would really decrease the efficiency of your stock OBD system, and wouldn't let you know of any potentially harmful problems that could arise, since your ECU would never be 'ready'.
And yeah, I'd recommend the Neo, just because it has more adjustment points and it looks better when compared to the previous version AFCs.

HOLY CRAP! Your air-fuel looks like a polygraph. GET IT TUNED!
the AFCs only adjust the airflow (MAP) signal. The stock ECU is still controlling all of the fuel output, based on the modified pressure signal the Neo is giving the stock ECU. So I'm pretty sure there's not a whole lot I can do about the AFR with the Neo... I'd have to get something a little more serious to do that.... and I'm not going to.
So unless you can show me a way to smooth it out using the Neo.... then yeah.

yours is also an '03... which had a better fuel trim from the factory to begin with.
I'm not saying it's not weird or whatever, yeah it could be a lot smoother. But I'm fairly convinced there's not a whole lot I can do about it with just the Neo. I'm pretty well versed in all this myself, and the tuner I took it to knows a lot more than I do about it.

The hp/torque curve isn't actually that smooth. They turned smoothing on which averages the slopes together to make it look nicer. The actual graph would be with CF:0 STD:0
BTW, your AFR's are fine on the blue run. The green one is everywhere.
