Just had my Valves adjusted
Over the weekend I had my neighbor adjust my valves on my 04 AP2 with 58k miles on it. He works as a Master tech at an Acura Dealership. Anyways, man the valve adjustment did wonders for my car. Down low it feels like I have a lot more power and the powerband is a lot more smoother.
The engine is a lot quieter as a result. Before, at idle if i were to rev it up to 3k and let the rpms drop, the car would sorta stutter at around 1.5k RPM, now it doesnt do that anymore. The mechanic told me that all of my exhaust valves were TOO tight, like at 0 tolerance. I don't know if that is even possible =x But he said he adjusted it to .0010 or so i believe.
The valve adjustment was well worth it! He also worked on an ap1 with 21k miles and said my car diffinitely drove better even though i had more mileage!
